Baroque palace in Godollo is the largest of its type in Hungary. It was a Royal summer residence of Queen Elisabeth, also known as Sissi. We will visit the palace and also part of the enormous park which surrounds it so you will find out a lot about the times of Austro - Hungarian Monarchy. After this „back in time" journey, we will go north toward Slovakian border to visit a small village of Holloko, situated in beautiful hilly region. Holloko is a village of the „Paloc" - ethnic subgroup of the Magyars (Hungarians) with own dialect and traditions. In 1987 Holloko was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage.
