Eger Tour

Let us take you to Eger – city in north eastern Hungary famous for historic buildings, thermal baths and great quality wines. We will walk around Baroque downtown and see Dobo Square and Main Cathedral. We will visit the Castle of Eger, famous for heroic battle against the Ottoman Turks during the Siege of Eger in 1552. Battle was won by defenders who killed more than 8000 Turkish soldiers. One of most interesting sites in Eger which you will see during our tour will be the northernmost Turkish minaret from the 17th century which is 40 meters high. Finally we will drive to the „Valley of Beautiful Woman” in suburbs of Eger, famous for numerous wine cellars where you will have a chance to taste 3 kinds of different local wines. Afterwards, in very good moods we will come back to Budapest.
