Balaton is the largest lake in Central Europe and important tourist center in Hungary with many resorts. It is often called a „Hungarian Sea” as the country does not have access to the sea. However lake is very shallow, its average depth is only 3 meters.

We offer you private day tour from Budapest to Balaton Lake. On our way we will visit famous Porcelain Manufacture in small village of Herend. Afterwards we will go straight to the shores of Balaton Lake passing by wineyards on its northside. You will take a walk in Balatonfured town and see picturesque gardens and promenade. Then we will drive to Tihany Peninsula where you will admire fantastic panorama from the view point of Abbey of Tihany. Finally we will cross the lake by ferry and drive back to Budapest.
