Hungarian wine has a very long tradition. History of making wine in Hungary dates back to Roman times or even earlier. Today there are more than 20 different wine regions in the country so there is a really wide choice of different types of wines here. Let us choose some of the best and organize a tasting party for your group. We can also show you unique wine cellars and on special request even organize a gipsy music concert.
Our proposal for this activity includes:
- tasting of 7 different types of Hungarian wine
- short guided tour of wine cellar
- English speaking guide's assistance
- English speaking sommelier (wine expert)
- "Pogácsa" (Hungarian type of small salty scone) and lángosballs with cabbage (balls of the typical Hungarian fried flatbread "lángos" with cabbage in the dough)
*there is a minimum of 10 persons for this activity
